Hope you’re all doing well!
I’ve been in Thailand for almost four days now but it seems so much longer - the days have been jam packed!
I spent 13 and a half hours on aeroplanes and finally made it to the other side of the world, and you would not believe how different it is here compared to England.
The weather is always hot, even when it’s raining or the sun has gone down. It’s been around 30 degrees each day, but thankfully the sea breeze is cooling everyone down. The sea is very warm here and the water is a beautiful, crystal blue.
The food here is very spicy (even when we ask for mild) but I am enjoying trying all of the new food. I have eaten a lot of curry, noodles and papaya fruit!
Today I have been teaching the Thai children the names of clothes, foods and drinks. They are all excited to learn english but often get very excited and want to play games. They all do the floss dance and tic tac toe just like you guys. Tomorrow I’m going to try and teach them ribena.
I am missing you all lots, I hope you’re working hard for Miss Hill and Mrs Gaughan - I can’t wait to see all of your wonderful work when I get back!!
I’ll put another message on for you all later in the week
Lots of love,
Miss Pickett x
